Customers can use heat styling tools, curlers, straighteners at 350 degrees and under, and even dye the topper to match their preferred look.

PROCESS:

1. Wash hair

2. Apply color 10vol or less

3. Only apply darker color, do not use any form of lighter. (It is better to order a lighter colored topper and add in darkere color as needed to get your desired look)

4. Rinse, shampoo, and condition. Allow conditioner to set for 10 mins or more before rinsing and styling

These areas are the top of the crown, the front hairline, and the parts. Well-fitted topper hair pieces will appear natural, blending well with the wearer’s natural hair.

Taking measurements:
1.    It would be best to determine the area and shape of the hair loss area on your client’s scalp. It can be at the hair parts, around the crown, along the hairline, or throughout the head.
2.    Measure the front-back distance and the distance between the sides. These two measurements will be the length and width of the base.
3.    Now you know how big the must-topper hair piece be for a perfect fit for your client’s hair loss area.

Taking good care of your hair system and keeping the hair in a healthy state is the best way to avoid hair tangles. Following these tips below can avoid hair system tangles to a large extent.

1. Keep the hair topper clean. But, do not over wash. This will very on how often the topper is warm and the activity level of wearer. Wash the hair system to remove dirt that may lead to hair tangles. Use warm water (not hot)

2. Use a wide-tooth comb to brush curly hairpieces, especially ones with small curls such as kinky curls, yaki curls, or Afro curls when the hair is completely wet or completely dry. Comb the hair gently and slowly – do not pull or rake it.

3. After washing, it is better to let the hair dry naturally. If you do use a hairdryer, use your hand to curl the hair in the direction of the curl at the same time as this will help the hair keep its shape.

4. Use a hair conditioner or hair oil regularly to smooth the hair.

5. If the hair is particularly long, you should divide the hair into several segments. Comb gently from the hair tips and gradually move up.

6. Consider sleeping on a silk or satin pillow. This will reduce friction which is a major cause of hair tangling and breakage. Never sleep with wet hair as it is likely to result in tangling.

7. Use shampoo or conditioners specifically made for hair toppers.

8. Do not dry your hair system with a blow dryer for a very long time or at a high temperature.

9. Keep hair curler, hair straightener to style the hair topper on low heat 350 or under.

10. Do not get your hair topper exposed to other high temperatures, like hot water, strong sunlight.

11. Do not get your hair topper exposed to excessive amounts of chlorine, salt, or other harmful substances.

Pulling hard on strands of hair is the major reason that leads to hair shedding. Please stay gently and move slowly when you are cutting, brushing, or washing your hair system.

For V-looped and injected hair systems, we don’t recommend that you brush the hair when it is wet, especially after it has been soaked in hot water. Since these two knotting methods are knotless, such action may result in hair shedding.
